Screensavers and Clipart are stored as zip files (compression files that make downloading faster) and once downloaded need to be "unzipped" before they can be used. Windows XP has a built in "unzip" facility and other unzip utilities are available for earlier versions of Windows and Mac.
Sound is used throughout the site, particularly in Netty's Net Adventure. To get the most out of Netty's World ensure your speakers are connected and turned on.
The clipart found in the colouring painting section of Netty's World can not only be used to print out, cut out and glue on other offline materials, but it can also be used as clipart for your computer.
To use the clipart on your computer, download the zip file and open one of the .pdf files found inside. You will need acrobat reader to view these files. Once you can see some clipart, click on the picture of the camera from the Acrobat Reader toolbar and then draw a box around the image that you wish to use. The camera will take a picture and now the clipart is saved on your computers clipboard ready to import into other programs. Simply paste the picture into programs such as Paint or Word.
The screensavers found in the zip files are executable files and will install automatically on your computer once they have been run.
